Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application. There must be some occasions when you want to import a clip or a scene from DVD into Premiere Pro to make some modifications. Though Adobe Premiere supports lots of video and audio format, such as 3GP, 3G2, ASF, DV-AVI, DV, FLV/F4V, M4V, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPE, MPG, WMV, etc. etc. it doesn't support DVD importing like most video editing software. To bring the DVD footage into Premiere Pro CC/CS6 for editing, you'll need to convert DVD files to a fully compatible format, such as MPEG-2 for Adobe Premiere.

To do that, you can use EaseFab DVD Ripper for Mac. By running it, there's no need to set the codec by yourself: the Mac program has optimized presets for Adobe Premiere Pro. With it, you can easily extract desired clips from DVD for editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Besides, the program also supports convert DVD to almost any video formats like MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV, MP4, FLV ,etc. with fast ripping speed and high output video quality bypassing DVD CSS protection. If you're using a Windows PC, simply turn to the DVD Ripper for Windows to finish the task.
