Part 1. How to Recover Data from iOS Device Directly

Are you looking for a way to recover accidently deleted photos or files? EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery tool can come in handy whenever you lose data on your iPhone/iPad/iPod. And Recover from iOS Device mode helps you retrieve lost data from your device directly. Let's see how it works:

Step 1

Connect iOS Device with Computer

Launch EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery on your computer. Use the USB cable that comes with your iOS device to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, to your computer. By default, EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery will detect your iOS device automatically and show you the window for "Recover from iOS Device". Click "Start"; access the data interface after your device is detected.

Tips: Before running EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery, you're supposed to download the latest version of iTunes. To avoid the automatically sync, don't launch iTunes when running EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery. I suggest you disable the automatical syncing in iTunes beforehand: launch iTunes > Preferences > Devices, check “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically”.

Choose the Data You Want to Selectively Recover

All the data categories supported by EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery are displayed in the interface. Just click on the icon of the data you want to recover and EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery will automatically start the scanning and analyzing.

Preview the Scanned Data

The scan will take you some time. Once it's completed, you can see a scan result generated by the program. Data both lost and existing on your device are displayed in categories. To filter out the deleted data on your iOS device, you can swipe the option "Only display the deleted items" to ON. By clicking the file type in the left side, you can preview the found data. And you can see there is a search box on the top right of the window. You can search for a specific file by typing a keyword in the search box.

Recover Data from Your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch

When you find the data you need, just put the check mark in front of the box to select them. After then, click the "Recover to Computer" button at the top right of the window and the recovered data will be saved to your computer. As for contacts or notes, you can click "Recover to Device" button to put these messages back to your iOS device directly.

If you want to preview or recover other data, just click the "Back" button at the top left of the window to exit the current interface and click other icons to recover and view data of other category.

Part 2. How to Recover Data from iTunes Backup

EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery supports recovering data from iTunes backup file. If you have synced your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to iTunes and created iTunes backup file before you delete or lost some data from your iOS device, you can choose to recover and export lost data selectively from iTunes backup rather than restoring your iDevice with the entire iTunes backup.

Step 1

Choose Recovery Mode

Launch EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery and click "Recover from iTunes Backup". After then, the iTunes backup recovery tool will detect all iTunes backup files on this computer and display them in the window. You can confirm which one is the one you need according to the date it has been create and click "Select".

Tips: If the iTunes backup file of your device is not listed here, it is probably because you haven’t synced your device to iTunes on this computer you are currently running EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery. Click "Select" button at the bottom of the window to choose iTunes backup from other folder.

Choose Data to Recover

Choose the data you want to recover by clicking on the icon for the data. If you want to recover all the supported data, just click "Recover All" on the top right corner.

Preview and Recover Data from iTunes Backup

It will take quite a time for EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery to scan and analyze the data from your iTunes backup file, please wait patiently. After the scanning process completes, please take a preview at all the exported data. Then you can selectively mark and recover those you want by pressing the "Recover to Computer" button at the top right of the window. Now contacts and notes can be directly recovered (by pressing "Recover to Device") to your iOS device if you keep your iOS device connected with your computer via a USB cable during the recovery process.

Part 3. How to Recover Data from iCloud Backup

EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery is capable of recovering and exporting data from iCloud backup. If you have ever backed up data on your iPhone to iCloud, it is possible to recover deleted or lost data from the iCloud backup you have previously created.

Step 1

Choose Recovery Mode

After running EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery, choose the recovery mode of "Recover from iCloud Backup Files" on the top. Then you'll see the window below. Enter your iCloud account and password to login. EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery takes your privacy seriously. We never keep a record of any your Apple account info or content at any time during your sessions.

Download iCloud Backup File

When you logged into iCloud, the program can find all iCloud backup files in your account. Choose the one where you're going to recover data and click on the "Download" button.

And a window will pop up for you to choose the type of files you would like to download. This will reduce the time of downloading the iCloud backup file. After finishing the downloading, you will be presented with the interface asking you choose data to recover. In this way, you can selectively recover whatever data as you need.

Scan and Recover

It will take some time for EaseFab iPhone Data Recovery to scan and analyze the data, please wait for a while with patience. Once it stops, you can preview almost all data in your iCloud backup file, like contacts, messages, photos, and more. Check them one by one and tick the item you want. Then click on the "Recover to Computer" or "Recover to your device" button to save them on your computer or your device with one click.

Now contacts and notes can be directly recovered to your iOS device if your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is connected with your computer with a USB cable during the recovery process.
